The Quivira Bookshop and Photograph Gallery collection consists of a scrapbook and loose materials that were found within the scrapbook. Folders 1-6 contain the loose material and folder 7 contains the scrapbook itself. Materials include handwritten and typed historical narratives, newspaper and magazine articles, business documents, and photographs documenting the business and cultural life of the Quivira Bookshop and Photograph Gallery. Newpaper and magazine articles document the many fine art photographers and prominent New Mexicans associated with Quivira. Prominent persons featured in the collection include Ansel Adams, Eliot Porter, Laura Gilpin, Minor White, Alfred Stieglitz, Peter Hurd, Van Deren Coke, and Concha Ortiz y Pino de Kleven.
